It was 40 years ago, that the Mack locomotive made history by being the last piece of motive power to operate at the Mount Union, PA dual-gauge railyard. Who would have thought, that such a small locomotive would play such a big role at the narrow gauge line, as well as at the neighboring Trolley Museum! There are several photos below of the weekend event that was held on October 10, 11, & 12, 2008. The owner of the railroad, stated "the McHugh's have done a wonderful job on restoring the Mack locomotive and I want to thank them for bringing it to this years event".

The McHugh family over the years has donated many materials items or provided labor on several projects at the EBT. The Kovalchick family in 2005 to show their gratidute to the McHugh's has had JC operating the M-7 for the Fall Spectacular event weekends each year since.

In 2008 the EBT owners Judy & Joe Kovalchick invited Ann McHugh to be the rail lines first official female engine crew member on the M-7 diesel locomotive during the weekend activies.

A large billboard at the back of the display exhibit trailer had many photo's of #4 working at the Mount Union yard. It also explained the job that #4 did for the EBT in 1968.
