Mack locomotive during August 8th,9th,& 10th, of 2008 visited Brownsville, PA for the annual National Pike - Steam, Gas, and, Horse Historical Equipment Show. The show featured operating old equipment such as steam cranes, steam shovels, steam tractors, gas electric equipment ( like the Mack ), construction equipment, and other vintage trucks / tractors. The Mack locomotive was only one of 4 pieces of railroad equipment on display. About 10,000 people attended this 3-day event.

The Mack was right at the entrance. It was hard to miss this flashy engine.

Jay E. Clark Jr., who owned a 1920s Mack-built dump truck, was kind enough to pose the truck with the locomotive.

Another shot of the two Macks.

Ann McHugh & Sadie pose with a restored 1920's crawler tractor.

One of the steam shovles in action.

They would actually load the dump trucks with dirt, carry to another place on site, then dumped it out to be loaded into another dump truck to take away.

Loading more dirt into a chain drive dump trucks...

Not exactly a dump truck, but an old style 'euclid' type off road dump.

This is another old-style steam-shovel; an early 1900s-built 3/4 swing 'skimmer' shovel.

An old chain drive MACK built tractor with lowbed trailer.

More shovels at work...

A rare 1930's Bay City shovel (right) model 20 model shovel. It was brought down by the Binghamton, NY chapter of the Heavy Equipment Construction Association.

The hugh front-end loader makes the really big 3900 shovel look not so large.

This shovel, owned by Lou McMaster, looks like it just came off the product line.

This is an old 'stakebody' truck and it is an International truck, known as a 'Cornbinder' back when it was built.
